Midwest School of Voice offers private voice, performance, guitar and piano lessons. We utilize a fresh approach to unlocking each student’s voice. We respect that performers have interests in many different styles of music. We coach students in a variety of musical genres, including jazz, pop, rock, country and everything in between.
Our approach will help you learn to engage an audience through techniques that emphasize entertaining performance techniques and a healthy use of the voice. Most importantly, we teach confidence to students of ANY age, gender, style or skill level.
“My goal is to help every student learn to enjoy the art of making music and to find
his/her voice ” -Heather Ramsey, Voice and Performance Coach

We offer a range of camps throughout the summer to immerse students in the process of creating, singing and performing music of all styles. Final performances for each camp showcase the student’s accomplishments through the week. Live recordings of the campers’ work will create an archive for years to come!
While the 2012 MSV summer camps have passed, the memory of all the fun times lives on! Campers recorded their rendition of “I Believe I Can Fly” at Ripple FX. The recording will be available on iTunes this holiday season. The campers decided that all proceeds from their iTunes sales will be donated to Riley Children’s Hospital).
We require a vocal evaluation with one our instructors prior to admission into our programs. We promise to tell it to you straight, but to be kind in the process. We want to help you with your goals, not scare you away from music.
After completion of a vocal evaluation, a faculty member will recommend the best program for the student based on age, skill and comfort when performing.
Voice evaluations are $75 and must be paid before schedulingRead more
